A rigorous and highly specialized selection

Exhibitors are selected by a jury made up of professionals in the fine crafts field and experts in artistic creation.

The aim of the jury is to ensure that the fair has:

  • an outstanding level of quality and originality
  • a carefully balanced representation of the different professions within this sector

  • a satisfactory rate of exhibitor renewal.

To do so, the jury adopts a clearly defined editorial line: the fairs must be resolutely contemporary and exclusively reserved for professionals in the field of fine crafts. Exhibitors are carefully chosen, and the jury ensures that selected designers display a high level of know-how, and a remarkable artistic approach that is sure to thrill the public.

Selection prerequisites:

  • You must be included in the official Fine Crafts nomenclature

  • Be conducting your activity in a professional capacity

  • Present a project with a refined and elegant scenography

  • You must exhibit the following:
    • objects that are unique or produced in small series
    • Works entirely designed and created in your own workshop
    • Recent works
    • Exclusively contemporary works
    • refonde, bold, elegant and original works

A highly specialized programme

To encourage people to reflect on the fine crafts, their inherent challenges and their evolution, résonance[s] organizes a yearly series of conferences, all of which are great opportunities for the public to exchange and discover. Films are also screened, and live demonstrations give viewers an insight into the secret world of artistic gestures and fine crafts workshops. Finally, educational workshops for children are organized to allow them to handle the various materials in a concrete and fun way.
This programme is accompanied by other highlights, and culminates with the welcoming of a guest of honor and a thematic group exhibition.
